Alex Reid slips off wedding ring and accepts Price marriage over

The cage fighter is said to have come to terms that the relationship has come to an end.
Alex Reid has come to terms with the fact that his marriage to Katie Price has come to an end, and has slipped his tungsten carbide wedding band off.

The cage fighter, who was married to Price for just 11 months after a whirlwind romance, reportedly took the split in January hard and refused to leave the martial home.

But now Reid has taken the first step in accepting the relationship is finished, by taking off the £2,500 tungsten ring Katie gave him for their Las Vegas nuptials last February.

"Although the divorce is pressing ahead, Alex still wore his unique ring around the house and she (Katie) never complained," a source allegedly told The Sun.

The Daily Mail website also displayed pictures of Reid’s naked hand – although whether he took the 8mm tungsten rings off simply to do the dishes, or tease the waiting paparazzi remains to be seen!

Meanwhile, the insider quoted in The Sun also said that Alex has only stuck around the Surrey mansion the couple shared when together on Katie’s request.

"She has been leading him on for several weeks now - that is why he hasn't left the house. She told him she needs him there as her bodyguard.

"But yet again she has jetted off around the world and discarded him like a used tissue."

Katie is believed to be in LA for the Oscars which take place there on Sunday, February 27.
