Rings have been in existence since centuries. Mainly considered as a symbol of embellishment or adornment, they have continued to grace many a fingers through the years. Irrespective of the gender, rings have continued to remain an extremely popular piece of jewelry amongst both men and women.

The emergence of rings could be dated back to the medieval period, a time when rings gained much popularity. So much so that every class in society sported a ring, that also in a way denoted one's social standing. A clear indication whether an individual was wealthy or not so well off, the rings worn ranged in metals from Tungsten ,iron, copper, silver and gold.
